The Toronto Raptors will be without Kawhi Leonard when they play the LA Clippers on Tuesday. According to The Athletic's Jovan Buha, the two-time All-Star is out with a bruised right hip.
Kawhi Leonard will not play tonight, per Nick Nurse.- Jovan Buha (@jovanbuha) December 12, 2018
Leonard has taken his game to another level lately with averages of 31.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.2 steals over his last six games. He's shooting 52.0 percent from the field and 46.2 percent from 3-point range during that stretch.
Despite those numbers, the Raptors have lost three of their last four games. Two of those losses came against playoff calibre teams in the Denver Nuggets (18-9) and Milwaukee Bucks (18-8), the third coming to the Brooklyn Nets (10-18) in overtime.
The Raptors will play the Warriors on Wednesday on the second night of a back-to-back. Led by Leonard's 37 points, Toronto beat Golden State in their first matchup this season, winning by a final score of 131-128 in overtime.
