Jr. NBA World Championship: Team Canada get spirits lifted by Vince Carter

Nothing lifts the spirits like a visit from an NBA legend.

Before taking a tough defeat at the Jr. NBA Championship coach Kevin M Cox tried to get his Brampton Breakdown boys ready for the game at hand.

Whether coach Cox planned it or not will remain unknown but the boys from Brampton got a surprise visit from the man who helped ignite Canadian basketball's explosion - Vince Lamar Carter.

Carter paid the potential future pro ballers an impromptu visit and left them in stunned silence.

Will this motivate the team to get back in the winning column only time will tell?

The boys will get back on the court against the world's best on Friday in the knockout stage.
