If you were patiently waiting for the Toronto Raptors to pop up in Jimmy Butler trade rumours, your patience has been rewarded.

The Raptors are now amongst the growing list of teams interested in acquiring the disgruntled four-time All-Star according to a report from KSTP's Darren Wolfson.

The report also mentions that the Timberwolves have told at least one interested team that they can get a good player back.

Minnesota owner Glen Taylor reportedly wants a deal for Butler done by Tuesday, which is the first day the team gets back on the practice court.

Whether or not a team helps facilitate that demand remains to be seen.

In July, Ujiri acquired Kawhi Leonard from the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for DeMar DeRozan.

If the Raptors were to trade for Butler it would send a clear message that Masai Ujiri and the team are prepared to go all-in on competing for a championship this year.

Butler averaged 22.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 59 games for the Timberwolves last season.
