James Wiseman: Golden State Warriors rookie to undergo MRI after exiting game vs. Houston Rockets with knee injury

Golden State Warriors rookie James Wiseman appears to have suffered another injury setback after existing Saturday's 125-109 win over the Houston Rockets with a knee injury.

Wiseman left the game early in the second quarter after falling awkwardly on a dunk attempt and shortly after he was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

He recorded six points and one rebound in six minutes of action.

Head coach Steve Kerr confirmed Wiseman is set to undergo an MRI either Saturday or Sunday (ET), but was unable to provide any further information post-game.

"Hopefully he doesn't miss too much time," Warriors guard Stephen Curry said post-game.

"Hopefully he doesn't miss too much time," Warriors guard Stephen Curry said. "It seems like when he takes a couple strides he gets dealt a little adversity, so it's kind of tough. But I don't know what the situation is. I hope he doesn't miss much time."

Wiseman has shown flashes of his raw potential this season, averaging 11.6 points and 5.9 rebounds on 51.8 percent shooting from the field, but has been in and out of the lineup, missing 11 games with a wrist injury and three more due to the league's health and safety protocols.
