We're running out of things to say about James Harden.

In the Houston Rockets' 114-110 win over the New York Knicks on Wednesday, Harden scored a career-high 61 points and pulled down a season-high 15 rebounds. The reigning MVP made 17 of his 38 field goal attempts, five of his 20 3-point attempts and 22 of his 25 free throw attempts.

With his performance, Harden is now tied with Kobe Bryant for the highest scoring game by a visitor at Madison Square Garden in NBA history. According to Basketball Reference, those two are the only players to ever score 60-plus points at MSG.

Harden also became the first player since Shaquille O'Neal in 2000 to record 60 points and 15 rebounds in a game.

Harden got the game started with 19 points in the first quarter. He shot only 4-for-12 from the field, but he made all nine of his free throw attempts. Harden then scored 17 points in the second quarter, followed by 13 in the third and 12 in the fourth.

Harden's final points on the night came on an emphatic dunk off of a steal from Eric Gordon:

All of Harden's points in the game were unassisted. He's scored 261 consecutive unassisted points, the last time someone set him up for a basket being Jan. 13.

In other unbelievable stats, Harden is now averaging 52.2 points in his last five games. He's also scored 30-plus points in 21 straight games. The only player to go on a longer streak of 30-point games is Wilt Chamberlain.

Harden will look to extend that streak to 22 games on Friday, when the Rockets host the Toronto Raptors.
