Malcolm Brogdon has been ruled out with back soreness, meaning his first meeting against his former team, the Milwaukee Bucks will have to wait until late December.

Brogdon left yesterday's game in Houston after playing just 9:07, and was not able to get up for the second game of a back-to-back.

The Milwaukee Bucks controversial decision to reach a sign and trade agreement with the Indiana Pacers in free agency rather than retain the guards services has been one of the early season talking points.

While the Bucks 8-3 start has been impressive, Brogdon has been on an absolute tear in an amplified role in Indiana.

Brogdon is averaging 19.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists thus far in 2019-20, leading the Pacers to a 7-5 record despite a number of injuries, most noteably to Myles Turner, complicating the early going for Indiana.

While Brogon will not suit up, Turner will be active for the central division matchup.
