James Harden continued his sizzling scoring form, leading the Houston Rockets to a 120-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks at home, their fourth win in five games.

Harden made it 30 consecutive games scoring at least 30 points, finishing with 31 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals, coming up with some clutch buckets down the stretch to seal the win.

The Beard poured in 11 points in the final three minutes, capping things off with his sixth three-pointer of the night to keep the streak alive.

After taking a 14-point lead at half-time, the Rockets extended their lead to 81-60, with Harden scoring nine points early in the third, but the Mavs refused to go away, slowly chipping away at the lead.

Houston hit back in the fourth quarter to stretch the lead to 106-90, before the Mavs went on a 7-0 run to cut the lead to 106-97, with under four minutes remaining....and that's when Harden shut it down, reeling off back-to-back three-pointers as Houston went on a 9-3 run to put the result beyond doubt.

While Harden has been carrying the offensive load for Houston of late, he had plenty of help tonight, with four teammates scoring 17+ points. Eric Gordon added 18 points, while Chris Paul recorded 17 points and 11 assists. Gerald Green chipped in 19 points and six boards off the bench, with Kenneth Faried continuing to impress in a Rockets uniform, chipping in 17 points and eight rebounds.

For the Mavs, Luka Doncic led the way with 21 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.
