Lowry, who played 35 minutes for the Heat in Saturday night's 109-98 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, will miss the game due to personal reasons.

The 35-year-old has yet to play against the Raptors in a Heat uniform, with his next opportunity scheduled for Jan. 29 in Miami, before their first matchup at Scotiabank Arena a couple of days later on Feb. 1.

Monday night's game was set to be an emotional game for Lowry, who NBA.com's Carlan Gay voted as the greatest Raptor of all-time following Toronto's 2019 title run.

In his nine seasons in Toronto, Lowry earned six All-Star selections, one All-NBA selection (3rd team, 2016) and won an NBA title in 2019 before joining the Heat this summer on a three-year sign-and-trade deal.

Through 39 games with the Heat this season, Lowry is averaging 13.4 points, 8.3 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game, with Miami currently sitting third in the Eastern Conference standings at 27-16.

In a boost for the Heat, they welcome back Bam Adebayo to the lineup, with the big man coming off a six-week stint on the sidelines following surgery on his right thumb. He is listed as "questionable" to face the Raptors.
