Charles Barkley, a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer and an analyst on TNT's 'Inside the NBA', announced via a statement from Turner Sports PR that he has tested negative for the coronavirus.

On the special March 12 edition of TNT's 'Inside the NBA', a day after the NBA's 2019-20 season was suspended, Barkley was not in studio due to an illness.

"I was in New York earlier this week, and that was a hot spot," Barkley said to the crew of 'Inside the NBA' on a call. "When I got to Atlanta, I just wasn't feeling well. I took the test, I haven't gotten the results back yet, and that's where I'm at now."

"I'm just kind of in limbo right now. I'm hoping, I'm really hoping, it was just a bug."
