Game of the Night

It wasn't the closest game of the night but it was the most entertaining. The Los Angeles Lakers held off a gallant Cleveland Cavaliers squad that continues to make waves in the Eastern Conference.

Leading by just three points heading into the fourth quarter, a Carmelo Anthony-inspired burst proved too much to overcome for Cleveland.

Melo continued his strong start to the season to finish with 24 points on 6-for-8 shooting from beyond the arc.

Don't sleep on the Cavs though, this is a sneaky exciting team to watch. Impressive rookie Evan Mobley put up his latest big line to finish with 23 points and six rebounds.

Be sure to catch the highlights of this one...there were plenty.

Highlight of the Night

You didn't have to do him like this, KD!

Durant finished with 22 points in the Nets win over Indiana, with three of them coming on this brutal crossover on Torry Craig.

This play provided the highlight of the night, but credit to Craig for producing a big night of his own with 28 points and 11 rebounds.

Performance of the Night

Do we think Jimmy Butler is out to prove a point in 2021-22?

Butler was sensational in Miami's big win over Charlotte, finishing with 32 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

The Heat are now 4-1 on the season and looking every bit the contender they hoped to become with the addition of Kyle Lowry and PJ Tucker in the offseason.
