With ten games to keep an eye on this Friday night, there was no shortage of highlights to catch and scores to track.

Here are some of the intriguing storylines at the end of all the games:

  • Blake Griffin scored a season-high scored 24 as the Pistons snapped a 5-game losing streak by handing the Hawks their fifth straight loss.
  • The San Antonio Spurs fall to their eighth straight loss, with a defeat in Philadelphia.
  • In the finale of their five-game road trip, the Celtics fall short as the Nuggets win their eighth in the last nine behind Nikola Jokic's triple-double.
  • In a clash of superduos, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George came out on top as the LA Clippers beat the Houston Rockets in a thriller.

Detroit Pistons def. Atlanta Hawks, 128-103


Andre Drummond (23 points, 15 rebounds) and Blake Griffin (24 points) hand the Hawks their fifth straight loss.

Washington Wizards def. Charlotte Hornets, 125-118


Miles Bridges scores a career-high 31 points, but it's not enough to overcome a 30-point, 12-assist double-double from Bradley Beal.

Brooklyn Nets def. Sacramento Kings, 116-97


Five players score in double figures for both teams as the Nets lead a game wire-to-wire for the first time since Dec. 2017 . Spencer Dinwiddie led all scorers with 23.

Philadelphia 76ers def. San Antonio Spurs, 115-104


Ben Simmons records a triple-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists. Joel Embiid scores 21 while Tobias Harris drops a team-high 26 as the 76ers hand the Spurs an eighth consecutive loss despite 29 from DeMar DeRozan.

Miami Heat def Chicago Bulls, 116-108


Miami Heat win their fifth straight behind 27 (7-10 FG's) from Jimmy Butler. On the other hand, the Bulls lose the fourth in their last five games.

Los Angeles Lakers def. Oklahoma City Thunder, 130-127


Anthony Davis pours in 33, LeBron James dishes out 14 assists and four other Lakers score in double figures as the Lakers win their sixth straight to improve their league-best record to 13-2.

The OKC Thunder had six players in double figures led by 24 from Shai-Gilgeous Alexander but it wasn't enough as they lose both games of a home-and-home against the Lakers.

Dallas Mavericks def Cleveland Cavaliers, 143-101


Luka Doncic scores 30 and dishes out 14 assists in a huge 42-point win for the Dallas Mavericks.

Denver Nuggets def. Boston Celtics, 96-92


Nikola Jokic recorded his third triple-double of the season with 18 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists to help the Nuggets win their fourth consecutive game and their eighth in their last nine.

Utah Jazz def. Golden State Warriors, 113-109


Rudy Gobert blocked a season-high 7 blocks as the Jazz beat the Warriors for the second time in 11 days to improve to 10-5.

Los Angeles Clippers def. Houston Rockets, 122-119


Behind 26 second-half points from Lou Williams, the LA Clippers win their sixth straight home game after they overcame a 11-point third-quarter deficit.
