Brooklyn Nets 113, Detroit Pistons 111

A series of missed free-throws in the final minute for both teams created drama before the Nets hung on for the win.

James Harden led Brooklyn with 44 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists.

Phoenix Suns 104, Toronto Raptors 100

Chris Paul finished with 19 points, six rebounds, eight assists and two steals in a tight win for the Suns.

Boston Celtics 122, Milwaukee Bucks 114

Boston avenged a loss to Milwaukee two days ago to big up a big road win.

Jayson Tatum (34), Marcus Smart (24) and Kemba Walker (18) combined for 76 points for the Celtics.

Miami Heat 105, Charlotte Hornets 110

Miami outscored Charlotte 56-38 in the second half but it wasn't enough to overcome the hot starting Hornets.

Malik Monk poured in 32 points for the Hornets, while Terry Rozier added 26 points and 11 assists.

Portland Trail Blazers 112, Orlando Magic 105

Norman Powell wasted no time impressing his new teammates, with the former Toronto Raptor pouring in 22 points in his Portland debut.

Houston Rockets 101, Minnesota Timberwolves 107

A big statline from KAT helped Minnesota pick up a close win over the Rockets. The big man finished with 29 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists. John Wall tallied 15 assists for Houston.

Denver Nuggets 113, New Orleans Pelicans 108

Trailing by one point with a quarter to play, a strong final period helped Denver pick up an important road win.

It was an MVP performance from Nikola Jokic that sparked the win, with the All-Star big man finishing with 37 points, six rebounds and nine assists. Zion Williamson had 39 points and 10 rebounds for the Pelicans.

Indiana Pacers 109 Dallas Mavericks 94

Myles Turner finished with seven blocks and the Pacers took care of the Mavericks who were without Luka Doncic. Domantas Sabonis led Indiana with 22 points and 15 rebounds.

Memphis Grizzlies 114, Utah Jazz 117

Donovan Mitchell (35) and Rudy Gobert (25) combined for 50 points to help Utah outlast Memphis. Ja Morant had 32 points and 11 assists for the Grizzlies.

Atlanta Hawks 124, Golden State Warriors 108

A huge night from John Collins helped lift the Hawks over the Warriors. Collins finished with 38 points and 12 rebounds.

Trae Young with what is essentially a lay-up for him.

Cleveland Cavaliers 86, Los Angeles Lakers 100

A 24-point, 10-rebound double-double from Montrezl Harrell was enough to help the Lakers snap a four game losing streak. Dennis Schroder added 17 points, five rebounds, seven assists and four steals.

Jayson Tatum - 34 points, six rebounds, seven assists, 13-18 FG

Karl-Anthony Towns - 29 points, 16 rebounds, 8 assists

Nikola Jokic - 37 points, six rebounds, nine assists, 2 steals, 1 blocks

John Collins - 38 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, 1 steal

Dennis Schroder - 17 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, 4 steals, 1 block
