There were nine games of NBA action on Friday night with plenty of talent taking the floor.

  • Seven players score in double figures for the Cavs as they beat the Wizards on the road.
  • The Raptors hold off a Suns rally late in the third quarter, to improve to 41-15 behind a big game by Siakam.
  • Four Celtics score 25 or more as they record a road win in Minnesota.
  • Chris Paul scores 20 of his 29 points in the second half to lead the Thunder past the Nuggets
  • In the battle for the West's eighth seed, the Pelicans record a key victory over the Trail Blazers in Portland.

Phoenix Suns 101, Toronto Raptors 118

Boston Celtics 127, Minnesota Timberwolves 117

Gordon Hayward (29 points), Jayson Tatum (28), Jaylen Brown (25) and Daniel Theis (25) combined for 107 points in the Celtics road win over the T-Wolves.

Denver Nuggets 101, Oklahoma City Thunder 113

CP3 put on another fourth quarter clinic and finished with 29 points as the Thunder picked up a big win over Denver.

San Antonio Spurs 113, Utah Jazz 104

Dejounte Murray topped 20 points for the second consecutive game and the Spurs pulled off an upset on the road.

Los Angeles Lakers 117, Memphis Grizzlies 105

LeBron James and Anthony Davis combine for 60 points while the latter also recorded seven blocks in the win no. 42 for the Lakers.

This will be the Lakers' first winning season since 2012-13.

New Orleans Pelicans 128, Portland Trail Blazers 115
