Former Toronto Raptors guard Jalen Harris signs with Italy's Vanoli Cremona

Jalen Harris has signed with Italian club Vanoli Cremona, the team announced.

The No. 59 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Harris appeared in 13 games (two starts) with the Toronto Raptors in the 2020-21 season, averaging 7.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.6 steals in 13.2 minutes. He scored a career-high 31 points in Toronto's loss to the Dallas Mavericks on May 14, 2021.

Harris also played in seven games in the G League with the Raptors 905 as a rookie. He posted 17.6 points per game on 46.2 percent shooting from the field.

On July 1, 2021, the NBA announced that Harris had been dismissed and disqualified from the league for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program. He's eligible to apply for reinstatement in one year.
