Jamal Murray and RJ Barrett headline the list of FIBA World Cup 2019 training camp invitees.

Canada Basketball released the list of 29 attendees for the Men's National Team training camp on Tuesday.

Murray and Barrett, often referred to as Canada's two brightest young stars, will join a list that features both veteran and younger talent to the program.

"Being asked to represent your country is a tremendous honour and we're excited about the group of athletes that we have invited to training camp next month in Toronto," Rowan Barrett, Canada Basketball General Manager said in a press release.

"These athletes demonstrate the depth of talent we now have in our country, as we prepare to meet the challenge of the FIBA Basketball World Cup.

Although the list won't be finalized until just prior to the start of camp, there's still plenty of names that will excite Canadian basketball fans who had been hoping to see some of the country's top talent don the red and white.

Minnesota Timberwolves swingman Andrew Wiggins remains absent from the list of invitees.
