Toronto Raptors Global Ambassador and Certified Lover Boy Drake has launched a new line of NBA-themed gear in collaboration with OVO.
The new range is an “exclusive capsule collection celebrating six iconic World Champion franchises” featuring the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors.
The collection which includes 59Fifty fitted hats, varsity jackets, heavyweight carded fleece, short and long sleeve T-shirts, and cotton terry sideline towels is part of OVO’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2021 collection and is available now on OctobersVeryOwn.com.
To launch the new collection Drake enlisted some of the biggest names in hip hop to rep their cities with Bobby Shmurda and Chief Keef rocking the Knicks and Bulls gear respectively.
Drake has been the Raptors Global Ambassador since 2013, helping boost the franchise's branding and marketing efforts around the world, meanwhile, OVO has been making moves in the NBA world for some time, with the Raptors rocking black and gold themed jerseys as well as having naming rights at the team's practice facility, the OVO Athletic Centre.
