As the Indiana Pacers recorded a tough 11-point comeback win in Denver, Domantas Sabonis became the first Lithuanian national to record a triple-double in NBA history.

Sabonis finished with 22 points (10-16 FG's), 15 rebounds, 10 assists, and a was a +12 in a game-high 40 minutes of playing time. He's the only Pacer with such a stat line in the last 40 years.

Early in the fourth quarter, the Pacers were down by seven and that's when reserve Doug McDermott caught fire.

McDermott scored 18 (7-8 FG's; 4-5 3P's) of his team-high 24 points (9-10 FG's; 6-7 3P's) in the fourth quarter as the Pacers scored a season-high 41 points in the fourth quarter while holding the Nuggets to just 26.

McDermott's scored his 24 points in just 21 minutes, finishing with a team-high +20.

The Pacers had two other players who finished with 22 points - T.J. Warren (7-13 FG's) and Malcolm Brogdon, (8-17 FG's) to go with eight assists.

As great as these numbers look, the shorthanded Nuggets held the game lead for a majority of this game. Given the Pacers' slow start - 15 first-quarter points - this game only saw one lead change.

The Nuggets, playing without their starting point guard in Jamal Murray, had five players in double figures led by their All-Star Nikola Jokic - 30 points (10-16 FG's), 10 rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and one turnover in 32 minutes.

However, Jokic failed to make an impact in the critical fourth quarter. His only two points in the period came from the free-throw line. On the back of this loss, the 29-13 Nuggets will play a road-heavy schedule (8 of next 13 on the road) leading up to the All-Star break.

On the other hand, this was the Pacers' fifth-straight win and the first since November 2007.

The Pacers, currently on a five-game West heavy road trip, play their second contest of a back-to-back in Salt Lake City vs. the Utah Jazz. However, after this road trip, the Pacers play seven of eight at home leading up to the All-Star break.
