Monday, the Memphis Grizzlies wing depth took a hit when they released their injury report:

The 22-year old forward Dillon Brooks is expected to miss six to eight weeks with a Grade 2 MCL sprain after taking a nasty fall against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday.

The Mississauga-native was averaging 18.9 minutes per game off the bench for the Grizzlies, scoring 6.8 points to go with 2.1 rebounds per game. He was shooting 36.8 percent from beyond the arc - a slight improvement on the 35.6 percent he shot his rookie year - and 40.9 percent from the field.

Brooks helped play a role in the Grizzlies' 7-4 start to the season but look for MarShon Brooks and Wayne Selden to see an uptick in minutes to make up for his absence.
