After losing to the Miami Heat by 16 points, their largest margin of defeat so far this season, the Suns bounced back with a dominant 138-112 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
The Suns now have a record of 6-3, their best nine-game start since the 2009-10 season when they were 8-1.

Booker outduels Irving
Coming into this contest, Kyrie Irving ranked third in the league in scoring with an average of 31.9 and eighth in assists with an average of 7.5.
In this game in Phoenix, he could only manage 15 and five assists on 4-of-15 shooting from the field and 1-of-6 from beyond the arc. Barring Joe Harris, Irving was a -31 in his 25 minutes of action.
On the other hand, Booker continued his super-efficient start to the season and finished with a near double-double of 27 points and nine assists, while shooting 10-of-14 from the field and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.
In his 32 minutes, he was a game-high +40.
No more PG trouble in Phoenix
Coming into his game, Ricky Rubio was averaging 12.4 points and 8.1 assists.
Against the Nets, he had his best game of this young season with the Suns. In 29 minutes, he recorded his second double-double of the season with 22 points and 12 assists. He also recorded four rebounds and two steals while having his best shooting game of the season - 10-of-16 from the field.
His +/- of 37 was second only to Booker's.

Coming off a spectacular FIBA World Cup campaign with Spain where he led them to the championship and was named MVP, Rubio has had quite the obvious immediate impact on the Suns.
Being easily the best point guard they have had over the past couple of years, he's taken over playmaking duties and eased the pressure on Booker.
Starters shine as Suns outplay Nets on both ends
Led by their backcourt, the Suns' starters played their counterparts off the court. All five starters scored in double figures and combined for 93 points while the Nets' starters only combined for 40.
Kelly Oubre Jr. scored 18 points, while Aron Baynes added 14 points and Dario Saric 12, with the starting unit combining for 12 of the Suns' season-high 19 three-pointers.
Under Monty Williams, the Suns are moving the ball and letting it fly from deep in a free-flowing offence. Tonight, they logged a season-high 37 assists on 52 made field goals, impressively only turning the ball over seven times (a season low).
Much has been made of the Suns' offensive improvement, but with Baynes protecting the rim, with Rubio on the perimeter alongside a much-improved Booker, the Suns boast the league's 11th-best defence and they made the Nets pay in this one, turning 17 Brooklyn turnovers into 32 points.
The hosts shot 52-of-99 (52.5%) from the field and 19-of-42 (45.2%) from beyond the arc while holding the Nets to just 44-of-91 (48.4%) from the field and 8-of-34 (23.5%) from 3-point land.
