When does DeMar DeRozan return to Toronto?

On July 18, 2018, the Toronto Raptors acquired all-star forward Kawhi Leonard and shooting guard Danny Green from the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for all-star guard DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick.

The first round pick is 1-20 protected and will turn in to two second round picks after one year if the protection upholds.

Both teams swapping their franchise players has turned this matchup in to two of the most highly anticipated games of the season. So when does DeRozan return to Toronto?

Friday, February 22nd

On Friday, February 22nd, DeRozan and the Spurs travel to Toronto to take on Leonard and the Raptors. The game is set for 7 p.m. eastern time and will be televised on ESPN. This is the second of two matchups between these teams this year, with both games appearing on national TV.

Equally as anticipated is Leonard's return to San Antonio. The two-time all-star and NBA champion spent his first seven seasons in the NBA with the Spurs. So when does this first matchup occur?

Thursday, January 3rd

On Thursday, January 3rd at 8 p.m. eastern time, the Spurs will take on the Raptors in San Antonio. This game will be broadcasted on TNT.
