The Toronto Raptors have reportedly added a couple of players to their roster.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Raptors are planning to sign Brandon Goodwin and Juwan Morgan on a 10-day hardship.

On the same day, it was reported that Gary Trent Jr. has entered the NBA's health and safety protocols, joining teammates Pascal Siakam and Dalano Banton.

Who is Brandon Goodwin?

Goodwin went undrafted in 2018 following two seasons at the University of Central Florida and two seasons at Florida Gulf Coast. In the three years since he's spent a lot of time in the G League playing for the Memphis Hustle (2018), Iowa Wolves (2019), College Park Skyhawks (2020) and Westchester Knicks (2021).

Across 50 career games in the G League, Goodwin has posted averages of 19.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.6 steals on .469/.380/.688 shooting splits.

Goodwin has appeared in a total of 97 NBA games (six starts) to this point of his career. He played 16 games with the Denver Nuggets in 2018-19, 34 games (one start) with the Atlanta Hawks in 2019-20 and 47 games (five starts) with the Hawks in 2020-21.

In a win over the Orlando Magic on Dec. 30, 2019, Goodwin scored a career-best 21 points off the bench.

The G League has Goodwin listed at 6-feet and 180 pounds.

Who is Juwan Morgan?

Morgan went undrafted in 2019 following four seasons at Indiana. Like Goodwin, he's spent a lot of time in the G League since, suiting up for the Salt Lake City Stars (2019-20) and Maine Celtics (2021).

Across 28 career games in the G League, Morgan has averaged 13.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 blocks on .583/.356/.674 shooting splits.

Morgan recently had a big game against the Raptors 905, finishing with 18 points on 4-for-7 shooting from 3-point range in a 134-106 win.

Morgan has appeared in a total of 50 NBA games over the last two seasons, each coming as a member of the Jazz. He played an additional nine playoff games with the Jazz in 2020 and 2021, two of which he started in.

Morgan and Raptors forward OG Anunoby have history, as they were teammates at Indiana for two seasons and played against each other in high school.

The G League has Morgan listed at 6-foot-7 and 232 pounds.
