Australian Boomers vs. Team USA exhibition game cancelled

The Australian Boomers' final exhibition game against Team USA has been cancelled amid growing COVID-19 concerns.

Team USA star Bradley Beal was ruled out of the Tokyo Olympic games after being placed into health and safety protocols, while teammate Jerami Grant has also been placed in health and safety protocols "out of an abundance of caution."

According to The Inquirer's Keith Pompey, Team USA is gauging the availability of Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris as Beal's potential replacement for the Olympics.

Team USA will reportedly still play their final exhibition game before Tokyo against Spain, scheduled for Sunday (ET) and according to ESPN's Olgun Uluc, the Australian Opals' game vs Team USA will still go ahead as scheduled on Friday (ET).
