Top storylines

Another 3-point record for Curry

Going into Sunday's game against the Brooklyn Nets, Stephen Curry had six consecutive games with five or more threes made, tied with George McCloud (1995-96) for the most in NBA history. It didn't take long for Curry to break this record, going 5-for-8 from three  in the first half . He finished with a game-high 35 points shooting 7-for-15 from beyond the arc in a 120-114 victory to secure the Warriors fourth straight win.

Curry has been lights out to start the season shooting 51.7 percent from three, making a league-best 46 of his 89 attempts from long range. His 46 made threes is more than the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder have hit as a team this season.

The Thunder get their first win

The Oklahoma City Thunder could not have had a slower start to the season. They lost their first two games while former MVP Russell Westbrook was recovering from a knee procedure and then lost their next two games once he returned. After an 0-4 start, the Thunder finally earned their first win of the season defeating the Phoenix Suns 117-110 on Sunday.

As you can expect, Paul George and Russell Westbrook led the charge with 23 points apiece. They both filled up the box score but most notably, combined for seven steals. The games' biggest surprise came from Nerlens Noel, filling in for Steven Adams who was out with an illness. Noel had a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds in his first start for the Thunder.

OKC had six players in double-figures for the first time this season and it was also the first time they had three guys score 20-plus.

Clippers doing it by committee

The Los Angeles Clippers picked up a 136-104 win over the Washington Wizards, with NINE players scoring in double figures on the night.

Tobias Harris (22 points), Lou Williams (17), Avery Bradley (15), Boban Marjanovic (13), Danilo Gallinari (11), Patrick Beverly (11) , Montrezl Harrell (13), Mike Scott (11) and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (10) shared the ball all night as they notched 35 assists and shot 54% from the field and 55% from the three-point line (16-for-29). 

To top it all of, we got some classic Boban being Boban....

Stephen Curry - 35 points (11-26 FG, 7-15 3PT, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal

Kevin Durant - 34 points (11-20 FG, 2-6 3PT, 10-11 FT), eight rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block

Paul George - 23 points (9-15 FG, 4-8 3PT, 1-2 FT), five assists, four rebounds, three steals, two blocks

Rudy Gobert - 23 points (9-13 FG, 5-6 FT), 16 rebounds, three blocks, two assists, two steals

D'Angelo Russell - 25 points (9-14 FG, 5-8 3PT, 2-3 FT), six assists, six rebounds, one block

Russell Westbrook - 23 points (8-13 FG, 7-10 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists, four steals

Tobias Harris - 22 points (9-14 FG, 2-4 3PT, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds

Can't-miss highlights

There is no defence for this type of offence. This three gave Steph the record for consecutive games (7) with five or more made threes.
