The No. 1 & No. 2 duel

Jalen Green (Houston Rockets) and Cade Cunningham (Detroit Pistons) Summer League

A face-off between the top two picks from the recently concluded NBA Draft is one of the must-see contests at the Las Vegas Summer League and the head-to-head between Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green did not disappoint.

Although the Rockets cruised to a 20-point victory (111-91), Cunningham and Green put on a show. Guarding each other for a while, they had plenty of highlights against one another.

Patrick Williams fuels Bulls comeback

Bouncing back from a loss a day earlier, the Bulls' 22-point comeback was fueled by the 30 points from Patrick Williams.

Williams, the 4th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, is coming off a rookie year averaging 9.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 27.9 minutes through 71 games. This showcase is certainly a promising sign of things to come for the 6-foot-7 forward's upcoming sophomore season.

Sharife Cooper calls game

Given the top names at the Las Vegas Summer League, it could be easy to miss on Sharife Cooper. He wasn't a top-10 pick, he wasn't picked in the lottery. In fact, he wasn't even picked in the first round.

However, the 6-foot-1 guard made his name known in the Atlanta Hawks' second game in Vegas by knocking down the game-winning triple from the corner.

That's not all. He was among the top performers with 21 points and nine assists. FYI, Cooper signed a two-way contract with the Hawks after the franchise selected him with the 48th overall pick in the 2021 Draft.

Celtics young brigade ball out

Multiple players on the Celtics squad put up numbers as the squad improved to 2-0 in Vegas with an impressive 25-point victory over the Nuggets.

Aaron Nesmith was the game's top-scorer with 33 points, including 7-of-9 shooting from long-range, Payton Pritchard put together 21 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds while Carsen Edwards contributed across the board with 14 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals.

However, Romeo Langford had the highlight of the game!
