2020 NBA Free Agency guide: Best players, deep dives, free agent destinations

Free agency will be here before you know it.

While the draft is next up on the NBA calendar (Nov. 18), free agent negotiations will begin shortly thereafter, at 6:00 p.m. on Nov. 20. Less than 48 hours later, at 12:01 p.m. (ET) on Nov. 22, teams and players will be allowed to put pen to paper by signing deals.

In preparation for free agency, we have you covered on who the best players are by position and skill, as well as deep dives and free agent destinations for notable players.

The best of the best

This year's free agent class is headlined by Anthony Davis, Brandon Ingram, Fred VanVleet, DeMar DeRozan and Montrezl Harrell. It also features a number of veterans, including Serge Ibaka, Danilo Gallinari and Goran Dragic.

The best by position

While this year's free agent class isn't as deep as last year's, there are still players at every position who will be highly coveted, from VanVleet at point guard to Davis Bertans at power forward.
