NBA Mexico City Games 2018: Mexican artist Farid Rueda paints mural to commemorate the event

Ahead of the NBA Mexico City Games 2018, Mexican street artist Farid Rueda painted a mural to commemorate the event and the three participating teams.

In addition to imagery featuring the mascots of the Utah Jazz, Orlando Magic and Chicago Bulls, the mural features text reading "NBAMX2018", a League Pass discount code that supplies fans around the world (excluding China/USA) with a 30 percent discount on any League Pass package.

The usage of bright colours and kaleidoscope-like effects are part of Rueda's signature style that pays homage to Mexican culture and heritage.

The NBA Mexico City Games 2018 will feature the Orlando Magic playing regular-season games against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday, Dec. 13, and against the Utah Jazz on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City. It is the third consecutive season the NBA will play two regular-season games in Mexico City.

The games mark the 27th and 28th games in Mexico since 1992 - the most NBA games held in any country outside the United States and Canada. The NBA Mexico City Games 2018 will be broadcast live on NBA League Pass International, as well as local broadcasters.

To purchase any annual package at a 30 percent discount, go to the NBA League Pass website, log in or create an NBA account, select your desired League Pass package, then select "enter promo code" and apply the code "NBAMX2018".

The promotional code is valid until 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 15, 2018.
